Music teacher Hannah Adams is pleasantly surprised when she meets her older sister’s friend, woodworker Gavin McQueen, who just moved back to their hometown with his nine-year old daughter, Parker. Hannah quickly discovers she shares not only an interest in kite making for the annual kite festival with Gavin, but also a love for making music with his daughter. Complications arise in their blossoming relationship when Gavin’s high school girlfriend Katie, decides she wants more than a commission on the recent transfer of his parents’ house. She wants Gavin back and will do whatever it takes to rekindle their romance. But who will own his heart?
